About Accidents at Work
If you are injured while working, and your employer is wholly or partly to blame, you may be able to make a claim. It has for decades been compulsory for employers to have liability insurance in place so that innocent victims of accidents in the workplace can be sure of receiving work injury compensation where it is due. When you make a claim for ‘accident at work’ compensation, any successful claim should be met by your employer’s insurer – not your employer. Claimants still have to overcome possible, legal obstacles and difficulties and so, again, swift and decisive legal guidance and advice following the accident is vital. The set time or ‘limitation’ period to bring your claim is also three years from the date of accident and if you delay, your right to claim for compensation may be lost forever.
